Meet Dr. Paul Farsai
Education
1990 - Dr. Paul Farsai moved to Boston after his undergraduate studies at University of Washington.
1994 - Dr. Farsai graduated from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where he earned his dental degree (DMD).
1995 - Upon graduation, he stayed at the same institution and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program receiving his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS).
1997 - Dr. Farsai completed a 2-year Faculty Training Fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry at the Boston Medical Center. Concurrently he completed his Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in the Social and Behavioral Sciences / Health Promotion Disease Prevention Program at Boston University School of Public Health.
2001-2002 - Dr. Farsai was one of thirteen candidates selected for the prestigious one-year Fellowship Program with the American Dental Education Association's (ADEA) Leadership Institute. During this Fellowship, he completed all four phases of the program designed to train individuals for higher education administrative positions.
2004 - Dr. Farsai was the recipient of the 10 under 10 recognition award from the Massachusetts Dental Society, in recognition for making a significant contribution to the profession of dentistry, their community, and/or organized dentistry.
2005 - Dr. Farsai was elected as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor dental society at Boston University Lambda MU Chapter.
2006 - Dr. Farsai was selected as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists.
2010 - Dr. Farsai was selected as a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy international honorary dental organization.
2022 - Dr. Farsai was the recipient of the Thomas F. Winkler Award from the New England chapter of the American College of Dentists (ACD) for his leadership and dedication to the profession and to the New England ACD chapter
Practice
Dr. Farsai has practiced restorative dentistry on the North Shore of Boston since 1997 and opened his own private practice in 2007 in Swampscott, Massachusetts. Central to his goal of providing optimal care for his patients' dental health and needs, he enjoys a long-standing, friendly relationship with his patients and is thrilled to be the primary dentist caring for families who are now the 3rd generation of patients in his practice.
Dr. Farsai remained as a faculty member at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine since graduation and for the next 26 years was promoted several times during his tenure to the final rank of Clinical Professor and as a Program Director. He served as course director in four pre-doctoral courses and taught in half a dozen additional pre- and post-doctoral courses until May 2023 when he transitioned away from academics and is now full-time in his private practice.
He has authored dozens of dental textbook chapters and articles, continues to lecture in the U.S. and he has lectured internationally in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Japan. In the past, he has served as a consultant for dental insurance, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical companies and has an extensive volunteer record in various dental associations, planning and organizing many educational programs for dentists.
He remains active as an American Dental Association (ADA) member and from 2009-2017 was asked to join the ADA Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry, serving as a reviewer and editorial panelist to review and teach critical appraisal skills in reading and writing scientific literature for the association's membership.
Dr. Farsai also serves as a reviewer for a dozen dental journals.

Meet Anna
Dental Hygienist
Anna joined the practice in 2023 and has over 20 years of dental hygiene experience. She graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and Northeastern University. She is originally from Odessa, Ukraine and as a resident of Marblehead in her spare time, she loves to walk to the beach, spend time with her family, and travel.
Meet Julia
Dental Assistant
Julia joined the office in 2009. She graduated from Northeast Metro Tech High School from the Dental Assisting program in 2009. She is a certified and licensed Dental Assistant and enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
Meet Shana
Dental Assistant
Shana has been a licensed Dental Assistant for over 10 years. She was on-the-job trained by Dr. Farsai in 2012 and x-ray certified through Boston University in that same year. Shana returned back to Dr. Farsai’s office in August 2021 after full-time dental assisting for about 7 years at another office. She looks forward to working with both past and new patients.
Meet Jazmin
Front Desk
Jazmin joined Dr. Farsai's office in July of 2021. She graduated Salem High School in 2015 then continued education at Lincoln Technical Institute. She has two beautiful daughters and in her spare time, she loves trying out new restaurants and traveling with her daughters.
